I am sharing a card with you all today that I designed back in May. It was for a swap I took part in for the new annual catalog. With so many items being on backorder they decided to extend the swap so I just received mine a few days ago. It’s usually a standard rule for you not to share your design until the other people in the swap have received theirs in the mail. That way they get to see it before it’s all over social media!!
I am finally able to share mine with you all. I wanted a different sunflower and I was pretty happy with how mine turned out. I love the way the Daffodil Delight and Melon Mambo turned out. I used the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set and decided I”d do a bit of water coloring.
When I designed the card back in May I did not have the Magenta Madness or the Bumble Bee re-inkers. In todays video I still used the Daffodil Delight but I did use the new In Color, Magenta Madness.
I love heat embossing so much. For this card I used White Embossing Powder. It made such a great background and really made the larger sunflower pop.
I also used our new adhesive sheets. I am so happy we have these in our new annual catalog. It makes die cutting out the little intricate pieces so much easier now.
If you missed the card I shared on Monday you can check it out HERE. I used the Celebrate Sunflowers bundle for it as well. I demonstrated how to create an inlay background using your dies.
You can shop my online store 24/7 if you want to purchase anything I used on either of the these two cards. Shop HERE
I hope you like the card and head over to my YouTube channel to see how I made the card. Thanks so much for stopping by today.
