My faith is very, very important to me. I have been struggling now for a few months and can’t seem to put my finger on what is wrong. I know God is still with me and will never leave me. I know all my negative feelings are in my own head and God loves me.
As I was praying last night before bed, I asked God what could I do to do more for him. I never feel like I am doing enough and that God is unhappy with me. I want people to see Christ through me. I want them to know I am a Christian. I want to spread the good news of Christ in any way I can.
About 8 years ago I felt like God was pushing me to quit my job and start a daycare at my church. I followed the lead and today we have over 100 children enrolled at our daycare. It wasn’t easy and it is a very stressful job, but I wouldn’t want to do anything else with my life. It’s the most rewarding job I have ever had.
I started this blog for my Stampin Up business. I want every part of my life to repersent Christ. This is a blog about me and my love for crafting. I feel it is okay for me to share a little bit about my personal life and let my followers get to know a little bit about me.
I have to decided to post a daily scripture. Just a little verse to maybe uplift or encourage someone who might stop by my blog and need a little uplifting verse. I love to joke and laugh so I am going to have a little play on words and title my daily scriptures, “A Verse to Leave A Mark”.
I love the stamp set “Butterfly Basics”! I go to this stamp set so many times when I’m making my cards. I just love it. I made this cute card and love the color combination. The good news about this card is the stamp set, Honeycomb Happiness is free when you order $50.00 or more in product! What a great deal. I love this stamp set and use it on many of my cards. I will be posting another video later in the week using this same stamp set.
Boy oh boy did I have a busy weekend. I am doing a card swap and I worked on my card design this weekend. I tried some techniques I had never done before and made a card I fell in love with!
I will be posting videos and pictures this week. Make sure you check back to see what I’ve been up to. You won’t be disappointed.
If you have any questions please let me know. These cards are so cute. You will make a total of 8 cards. Two cards of four different designs.
I decided today was the day I was going to organize my Stampin Up paper. I have a ton of scrapbooking paper I have accumulated over the years. I had always stored them on this shelf. I was using my IKEA shelf for my SU paper and just laying the paper inside. It was not very easy to stay organized and keep all my color families together.
I decided I was going to move my non-Stampin Up paper to a new cabinet and utilize this shelf for my Stampin Up paper. I printed out the name of the paper and organized them in their color family, in colors, brights, regals etc.
It was all going so well until…… my P-Touch printer ran out of paper! Well my hubby is going to pick me up a refill tomorrow so I can finish the job!
I guess I am having a butterfly week! This is a beautiful card I made a few days ago. I love how it turned out. I used the same butterfly thinlets and stamped one in Bermuda Bay and the bottom on in Cajun craze. I popped the top one up using a dimensional. I will be posting a Youtube video in the next few days.
